Priya Sharma

Product Manager ยท B2B Software Company ยท Mumbai

Priya spent 3 days writing a competitor analysis report. She sent it on Monday morning. By Thursday, almost nobody had read it.

Her manager said she would get to it later. Her teammate planned to read it on the weekend. Her senior colleague opened it and closed it within a minute.

On Friday afternoon, Priya uploaded the same document to a free AI tool. Five minutes later, she had a 10-minute audio podcast โ€” two AI voices discussing her research like a news show.

She shared the audio link in the team chat instead of the PDF. By the end of the day, her manager had listened during her evening walk. Her teammate listened at lunch the next day. Her senior colleague heard it and asked for a follow-up meeting.

The document did not change. The format did. That one change meant her work was actually heard โ€” by people who had ignored every document she had ever sent.

Why This Matters at Work

Most working professionals receive 50 to 100 documents every week. Almost none of them get fully read. This is not because people are lazy โ€” it is because reading a long PDF requires sitting down with full attention. Audio fits into time people already have.

Use something real from your work this week โ€” a report, meeting notes, or a research document. The more real it is, the more valuable this exercise becomes.
2

Open the Audio Panel

On the right side of the screen, find the Studio panel. Click Audio Overview to expand it.

You will see a Generate button and a Pencil icon.

โš  Do not click Generate yet. Do Step 3 first โ€” it makes a big difference.

3

Customise your audio before generating

Most people skip this step. It is the most important one.

Click the Pencil icon. This opens the customise panel where you can choose a format and add instructions.

Choose your format:

Deep Dive (8โ€“15 min)Best choice

Best for most work documents. Two AI voices have a conversation about your content โ€” easy to follow, covers the key points in depth.

Brief (1โ€“2 min)

Good for short documents or quick summaries.

Lecture (30+ min)

One voice, longer. Good for training material.

Then paste this into the Customize text box:

"Explain this to someone who has not read the document. Focus on the 3 most important points and what action they should take."

This one instruction is what turns a generic audio summary into something that sounds made for your specific team or audience.

4

Generate, listen, and share

Click Generate. It takes 2 to 3 minutes. You can navigate away while it runs in the background.

๐Ÿ“ฅ
Download as MP3: Share the file in Slack, WhatsApp, or email โ€” anyone can listen
๐Ÿ”—
Share the link: Copy the notebook link โ€” the other person needs no account or app to listen
๐Ÿ’ฌ
Ask questions while listening: Pause the audio, type a question, and the AI answers using your document โ€” then playback continues

Send this to one person on your team

Most people at your workplace do not know this tool exists. One message from you this week could save a colleague hours of follow-up work.
